Symposium: Welcome Talk
To open the symposium, Artistic Director Peter Paul Kainrath and journalist Andrea Penna will welcome the audience with a Welcome Talk. Drawing on the debates sparked during the final rounds of the previous competition about the future of musical interpretation, he will introduce the symposium’s central themes. On the following day, internationally renowned musicians, journalists, and experts will explore in greater depth questions surrounding artistic identity, individuality, and the role of the artist’s personality in an evolving musical world.
